| The Michael A. Gard (MAG) Memorial Foundation is a
non-profit organization founded in 2001. The MAG foundation was created in
memory of our loving father, Michael Gard, who passed away from colorectal
cancer in July of 2000 at the age of 53. Colorectal cancer is one of the
most treatable and curable forms of cancer if it is detected early. The
mission of this foundation is the prevention and early detection of colon
cancer. This mission is accomplished through a variety of educational
programs directed at increasing awareness of colon cancer and through early
